Project profile
Habitat Studio’s first RSL prize home sits on the beachfront at Golden Four Drive, directly connected to sand and sea views. Conceived as a contemporary beach house, it uses lightweight materials and battened screens for privacy, filtered light and breezes. An upper volume floats above the deck to address site constraints, while an operable beachfront façade draws the ground plane into living areas. The result is a permeable, private yet open home that celebrates its coastal setting on a compact site.
