As a practice we are interested in the idea of building as a backdrop, valuing architecture that is simple, recessive and belonging to its context. Our projects are characterised by the places they occupy and the people who occupy them, so the site and our clients are fundamental to our process. Our studio is a small team of architects led by Andrew Burges, who share an interest in the composition, coordination and detailing of building elements.
